Program begins and runs through March 31, 2023.

The next phase of dots between will be an alumni series focused on creating sustainable pathways for artists of any medium and career stage. All previous fellows are invited to participate. If you are interested in joining this alumni cohort, please complete this short interest form.

The full 6 month dots between cohort is on hiatus. Email me to get on the list for announcements for the next session tamara@thedotsbetween.com.

To work with me 1:1, schedule time here for a 15 session to explore your questions and make a tailored plan for you. I offer a sliding scale from zero-$250 an hour. My typical artist rate is $80 hour.

I am also available to speak to art schools and other professional development programs for artists. Email to inquire.

Portrait of Tamara Bates by Simon S Sotelo
For 20 years, I worked in philanthropy and for nonprofit organizations on fundraising, strategic planning and board development.

In 2013 I became a financial advisor for UBS and obtained a series 7, 66, and insurance licenses in addition to completing a Wealth Advisor certificate and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation. I have worked with clients from every socioeconomic background and am equally adept at managing complex strategies for those with financial means as I am at supporting emerging/long term artists in creating plans to manage student loan debt, buy a home and plan for retirement.

I have a BA in Psychology from the College of Santa Fe and an MA in social policy from Tufts University. I have been an arts commissioner for the City of Santa Fe and on the national advisory council for Creative Capital.
